Column cleanups have been the standard DNA cleanup solution for molecular biology, genetic engineering and synthetic biology workflows since the 1990s. Typically, these workflows take anywhere from 30-60 minutes to complete. With the EMnetik system, it can take a mere 16 minutes. Patented Magnetic Bead-Based System
With the EMnetik system, we've harnessed the true power of magnetic bead-based technology. Highly responsive magnetic beads bind only to the DNA in your sample, and once the beads are mixed with your sample, the system uses a magnet to pull samples to the side of the tubes so you can remove contaminants in the supernatant, leaving only your sample bound to the beads.
